Babycalf Full-Grain Leather

Full-grain leather - the strongest and most durable part of the hide of an animal. While full-grain leather from mature cow contains lots of scars and scratches, which adversely affects the dying process and the product's appearance, that from baby calf can make good this shortcoming. In comparison to other kinds of full-grain leather, baby calf leather proves itself to be more outstanding because of its supple feel and smooth surface, while still retaining the excellent features of full-grain leather, that is, great durability. All of these features together make full-grain baby calf leather a particularly valuable material.

Full-Aniline Dying Technique

Full Aniline, a dying technique, results in the type of leather having the most natural look. This special technique is a process in which the leather is dyed with soluble dyes in vats, whereby the colors are absorbed into the material from all corners. The final product is a textile that is lust, vibrant in color and has a natural glossy finish. At Cicero, we adhere to the top-grade full aniline technique which contains a protecting finish, that not only enhances the product's moisture resisting ability but also minimizes dirt remaining on the product's surface.

Hand Stitch

Hand stitch, also known as saddle stitch. In terms of durability, hand stitched products exceed those stitched by machines, since two threads are used. When it comes to the final appearance, hand stitched products are well known for its elegant, steady and uniform lines of stitches with neat and even holes. All of these features of just a tiny line of stitches indeed greatly contribute to the sophistication and aesthetics of the whole product. Meanwhile, machine stitched products are full of crumpled holes with spiky torn threads lacking such beauty.
